Linking flash point testing with tyre manufacturers is perhaps not the most obvious application, but this multi billion dollar industry utilises complex formulations during their manufacturing process and the flash point classification of some constituent raw material is essential for safety.

As an example the binding of rubber and silica is a key production process and typically uses costly chemical compounds. To monitor quality and check for possible contamination the Setaflash Small Scale Flash Point Testers are ideally suited.
